DACO is led by Dana Sirbu, a seasoned finance executive with over 15 years of experience in corporate finance, governance, HR, and operations. Her background spans international scale-ups and established organisations, where she has partnered closely with boards, CEOs, and leadership teams to manage growth, structure complexity, and translate strategy into execution.

Dana has supported fundraising transactions, investor reporting, governance frameworks, and transformation initiatives across multiple jurisdictions. She is known for her entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach, combining strategic perspective with practical execution.

She founded DACO to provide flexible, CFO-level support to companies seeking clarity, sound structure, and sustainable growth in Switzerland and internationally.

Our expertise covers financial reporting under Swiss CO, Swiss GAAP FER, IFRS, US GAAP, as well as governance and board support, legal coordination, people operations, and cross-border compliance.

We work with a trusted network of experts, combining the reach of a team with the focus of a dedicated partner.

Background

Dana holds a degree in Finance and has deepened her Swiss expertise through selected coursework in accounting, tax and fiduciary matters within the TREX program at Romandie Formation.

She has further strengthened her advisory capabilities in growth and funding by completing the Venture Finance Programme at the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School.

Today, Dana advises founders and leadership teams on funding strategy, audit readiness, legal structuring, and international expansion, with a strong emphasis on execution, clarity, and long-term value creation.
